It’s time to CELEBRATE at the Firs Farm Festival

Firs Farm Park Wetlands and Playing Fields, Winchmore Hill, is holding its first ever Festival on Saturday 16th July 2016 from 11-until 7pm.

A previously unused piece of land has been transformed into a nature haven, where geese, including a beautiful Egyptian Goose, glide through the water accompanied by an ever growing group of ducks and a heron. In the surrounding woodlands - swifts, blackbirds, woodpeckers, owls and a cormorant have been spotted visiting Firs Farm.

Today, the wetlands is regularly visited by community groups including neighbouring schools and nurseries, where local children, as young as two, can find out the important role the wetlands plays in biodiversity. Pond dipping & nature trails are just some activates that children can take part in.

Amongst all this, a 600 metre foot path, allows access to all visitors to come and experience this tranquil environment at their leisure.

So don’t miss the opportunity to join us on the 16th July and enjoy the celebrations!

Here are just some of the wonderful attractions and activities for the day:-

Fun fair rides, face painting, pony rides, dog show, tug of war, five a side, beat the goalie, golf (Mini 9 hole), belly dancing, dance, kick boxing, Zumba with Sonia, pond dipping

Live bands preforming throughout as well as beer on tap and a hog roast. There's also an Auction including Drumsticks signed by Nick Mason of PINK FLOYD and lots more.

We’re sure there will be something for everyone to enjoy and it all kicks off with the children’s Wetlands theme fancy dress parade from 10:30am.
