500 HOURS OF VOLUNTEERING ACTIVITY TO TAKE PLACE IN 60 HOURS THIS WEEKEND
This weekend, Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice will be joined by nearly 100 15-17 year olds from NCS with The Challenge.
The teenagers will clock up approximately 500 hours of volunteering on Saturday and Sunday at venues across North London.
They will be supporting Noah’s Ark staff and volunteers at community events taking place in High Barnet and Palmers Green, and will be bag packing in Chalk Farm, Brent Cross Shopping Centre, Colindale, Golders Green and Edmonton.
Over the summer months, seven teams of young people from Barnet, Haringey, Camden and Islington visited Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice to find out more about the charity’s work.
Beth McGlue from NCS with The Challenge said: “Each of the teams have been really inspired and are really looking forward to making a positive difference to
Noah’s Ark and the young people they support this weekend.”
Please contact Lorraine Feldman, Press Officer on 07958 741599 or lfeldman@noahsarkhospice.org.uk if you would like to speak to a member of the Noah’s Ark Community Fundraising Team about this joint initiative.
