New Sainsbury's Local on our High street

Sainsbury's are planning to open a new "Sainsbury's Local" store from 7am to 11pm seven days a week in Palmers Green on Green Lanes. Occupying premises previously belonging to the Turkish food shop 1001 Supermarket and the adjacent Palmers Green News paper shop. Plans are currently still awaiting permission because Sainsbury's wish to build a single-storey extension to the back and side of the building to provide additional floor space.
