Is now the time to ensure your rental property is properly protected? For many landlords rent and legal protection has not always been a priority. However, the UK is now facing difficult times and recent figures show the biggest slump in employment for more than a decade. With Government assistance schemes coming to an end the economic cost of the pandemic is huge. 

This has led to a substantial increase in the number of rent arrears from tenants since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic and, added restrictions mean that it is not currently possible to progress possession hearings through the courts.

You may know how difficult it can be to remove a non-paying tenant, even if it is of no fault of their own. Challenges brought about by the pandemic have seen Landlords negotiate with tenants to protect their own investments but also help tenants that have found themselves in an onerous situation.
